The Vector Pipeline System comprises 274 miles of 42-inch diameter pipeline in the United States and 15 miles of 42-inch diameter pipeline in Canada. Vector also leases a 59-mile, 36-inch diameter pipeline between Milford, Michigan, and Belle River, Michigan, from Michigan Consolidated Gas Company. With the recent completion of the Joliet and Washington Compressor Expansion Project, Vector Pipeline has four natural gas compressor stations--one 15,000 horsepower and three 30,000 horsepower stations. Strong customer interest during the 2009 expansion open season has led to the Athens Compressor Expansion Project.
