History

Vector Pipeline filed applications with the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the Canadian National Energy Board in late 1997. Construction of the pipeline took place during 2000 and Vector began operations Dec. 1, 2000.

Vector Pipeline L.P. is a joint venture between Calgary-based Enbridge Inc. (NYSE/TSX: ENB), with a 60 percent interest, and Detroit-based DTE Energy Company (NYSE: DTE), with a 40 percent interest.
