Background Information
Vector Pipeline L.P. is a joint venture of Calgary, Alberta-based Enbridge Inc. and Detroit, Michigan-based DT Midstream, Inc. The business is a unique operation in that the affairs of the limited partnership are managed by a general partner (Vector Pipeline, LLC) that relies extensively on service providers in the conduct of the day-to-day business.
Vector's headquarters is located in Livonia, Michigan and is comprised of approximately ten employees who manage the business with the assistance of a number of service providers. Vector uses both affiliated and non-affiliated service providers to support a wide range of functions, and contracts for such services with various entities.
Enbridge Inc. affiliates that provide services include Enbridge Employee Services Inc. Under two separate agreements, they provide services for 1) gas control and nominations, and 2) field operations, shared support services, gas accounting, etc. Enbridge service providers are located in various places, including Edmonton, Alberta, Calgary, Alberta, Superior, Wisconsin, Griffith, Indiana, and Houston, Texas.
